Alex Herz is an award-winning writer, director & editor and has loved films and filmmaking from a very early age. His passion lies primarily in narrative fiction films and documentaries about those who don’t often have their stories told.

Alex's first feature film, "A Normal Life," was independently produced at age 19 and subsequently picked up for distribution by Indie Rights Films. The screenplay for the film was selected to be a part of the Core Collection at the Library of the Academy of Arts & Sciences. 

Alex is currently a senior at Northwestern University, where he is majoring in Radio, Film, and TV.
